Homeopathic medicinal product for disorders of the female reproductive organs and for nervous disorders.

The therapeutic indications are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures. These include: menstrual complaints and low mood.

Contraindications

Do not take Mulimen® S during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not take this medicinal product if you are allergic to shellfish, any of the active substances, or any of the other ingredients.

Precautions for use

In adolescents under 18 years of age, use for low mood should only take place after consultation with a doctor experienced in homeopathy.

In the case of menstrual irregularities, you should first consult a doctor, especially in the case of persistent, unclear, or newly occurring symptoms, as these may be disorders that require medical clarification.

There is insufficient documented experience for use in children. Therefore, it should not be used in children under 12 years of age.

This medicinal product contains 105 mg alcohol (ethanol) in 5 drops, corresponding to 54% by volume. The amount in 5 drops is equivalent to less than 3 ml beer or 2 ml wine. The small amount of alcohol in this medicinal product has no noticeable effects.

Interactions

No interactions are known. The effect of a homeopathic medicinal product may be adversely influenced by generally harmful lifestyle factors and by stimulants and luxury foods. Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are using, have recently used, or intend to use other medicinal products.

Dosage and method of administration

Unless otherwise prescribed:

Adults: In acute conditions, take 5 drops every half to one hour, up to 6 times daily. In chronic forms, take 5 drops 1 to 3 times daily.

For menstrual complaints, girls aged 12 to 18 years: In acute conditions, take 5 drops every half to one hour, up to 6 times daily. In chronic forms, take 5 drops 1 to 3 times daily.

For low mood in adolescents aged 12 to 18 years, the dosage is determined by a doctor experienced in homeopathy.

For acute dosing, use for longer than one week should only take place after consultation with a therapist experienced in homeopathy. In chronic forms, reduce the frequency of use when symptoms improve.

The drops should be taken with a little water before meals.

Duration of use

As with all medicinal products, homeopathic medicinal products should not be used for prolonged periods without medical advice.

Side effects

No side effects are known. Like all medicinal products, however, this medicinal product can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Note: When using homeopathic medicinal products, existing symptoms may temporarily worsen (initial aggravation). In this case, discontinue use and consult your doctor.

Composition

10 g mixture (= 10.8 ml; 1 g = 22 drops) contains:

• Vitex agnus-castus Dil. D3 – 1.11 g
• Ambra grisea Dil. D4 – 1.11 g
• Hypericum perforatum Dil. D3 – 1.11 g
• Cimicifuga racemosa Dil. D4 – 1.11 g
• Kalium carbonicum Dil. D4 – 1.11 g
• Gelsemium sempervirens Dil. D4 – 1.11 g
• Sepia officinalis Dil. D8 – 1.11 g
• Calcium carbonicum Hahnemanni Dil. D8 – 1.11 g

Active substances 1 to 3 are potentized together over the last step with ethanol 62% (m/m). Active substances 4 to 6 are potentized together over the last step with ethanol 43% (m/m). Active substances 7 and 8 are potentized together over the last step with ethanol 30% (m/m).

Other ingredient: ethanol 43% (m/m).

Pharmaceutical form and pack size

Oral liquid mixture (drops). Available pack sizes: 50 ml and 100 ml.

Storage

Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the container and outer packaging. No special storage conditions are required.
