Vertigo/dizziness of various origins; mild cognitive impairment (MCI) such as lack of concentration and forgetfulness.

For this product no clinical data on pregnancy and lactation are available. Homeopathic dilutions of the substances present in this medicament are not known to be toxic during pregnancy and lactation. No adverse effects have so far been reported.

Dosage

Standard dosage:
Adults (and children 12 yrs. and older): 1 ampoule 1 to 3x weekly.

Acute or initial dosage:
Adults (and children 12 yrs. and older): 1 ampoule daily, and then continue with standard dosage.

Method of administration:
Vertigoheel, Solution for injection may be administered by the s.c., i.d., i.m. or i.v. route.

Overdose

No cases of overdose have been reported, and none are expected due to the homeopathic dilutions.

Homeopathic medicinal product for vertigo

Product status

Homeopathic medicinal product for vertigo. The areas of application are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures. These include various states of vertigo.

Contraindications

Must not be used if you are allergic to any of the active substances or other ingredients of this medicinal product.

Precautions for use

If symptoms worsen, persist, are unclear, or newly occur, seek medical advice, as these may be conditions requiring medical evaluation.

There is insufficient experience for use in children under 12 years of age. It should therefore not be used in children under 12 years.

Ask your doctor for advice before using any medicinal product during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

This medicinal product contains less than 1 mmol (23 mg) sodium per ampoule, i.e. it is essentially “sodium-free”.

Interactions

The effect of a homeopathic medicinal product may be adversely influenced by generally harmful lifestyle factors and by stimulants and luxury foods. Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are using, have recently used, or intend to use other medicinal products.

Dosage and method of administration

Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and adolescents from 12 years of age should inject 1 ampoule daily intramuscularly (i.m.), subcutaneously (s.c.), intracutaneously (i.c.) or intravenously (i.v.) in cases of acute vertigo.

Use for more than one week should only take place after consultation with a therapist experienced in homeopathy.

In chronic forms, inject 1 ampoule 3 times to once weekly i.m., s.c., i.c. or i.v. If symptoms improve, the frequency of use should be reduced.

Ampoules should be used immediately after opening. Opened ampoules must not be stored or used later, as the sterility of the injection solution can no longer be guaranteed.

Duration of use

As with all medicinal products, homeopathic medicinal products should not be used for prolonged periods without medical advice.

Directions for use

Do not use a double dose to make up for a forgotten application. If you have any further questions on the use of this medicinal product, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Side effects

Like all medicinal products, this medicinal product can have side effects, although not everybody gets them. Allergic skin reactions (hypersensitivity reactions) may occur. In this case, discontinue use and contact your doctor.

Note: When using homeopathic medicinal products, existing symptoms may temporarily worsen (initial aggravation). In this case, discontinue use and consult your doctor.

Instructions for opening the ampoule

Coloured dot facing upwards. Allow solution in the ampoule tip to flow downwards by tapping or shaking. With the coloured dot facing upwards, pull the ampoule tip backwards to break it off. Open the ampoule carefully and follow the instructions.

Composition

1 ampoule of 1.1 ml (= 1.1 g) contains:

  • Conium maculatum Dil. D2 – 1.1 mg
  • Ambra grisea Dil. D5 – 1.1 mg
  • Petroleum rectificatum Dil. D7 – 1.1 mg
  • Anamirta cocculus Dil. D3 – 7.7 mg

Active substances 1 and 2 are potentized together over the last step with water for injections.

Other ingredients: sodium chloride, water for injections.

Pharmaceutical form and pack size

Liquid dilution for injection. Packs of 10 ampoules and 100 ampoules of 1.1 ml.

Storage

Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the container and outer packaging. No special storage conditions are required.
