Indication group

Homeopathic medicinal product for diseases of the cardiovascular system.

Areas of application

The areas of application are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures. These include:

  • Feeling of constriction in the region of the heart
  • Angina pectoris complaints

Contraindications

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the active substances or any of the other ingredients of this medicinal product.

Precautions for use

In the case of pain in the region of the heart that may radiate into the arms, upper abdomen, or neck,
or in the case of shortness of breath, a medical evaluation is urgently required.
Also consult a doctor if complaints persist, are unclear, or newly occur.

There is insufficient documented experience for use in children; therefore, it should not be used in children under 12 years of age.

Ask your doctor for advice before using any medicinal product during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

This medicinal product contains less than 1 mmol (23 mg) sodium per ampoule, i.e. it is essentially “sodium-free”.

Interactions

The effect of a homeopathic medicinal product may be adversely influenced by generally harmful lifestyle factors
and by stimulants and luxury foods. Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are using, have recently used,
or intend to use other medicinal products.

Dosage and method of administration

Dosage must be determined individually.

Unless otherwise prescribed:

  • Long-term treatment: 1 ampoule 1 to 3 times weekly by intramuscular (i.m.), subcutaneous (s.c.),
    intravenous (i.v.) injection, and if necessary also intracutaneous (i.c.). If symptoms improve, reduce the frequency of use.
  • Acute conditions: 1 ampoule up to 3 times daily by i.v., i.m., or s.c. injection.
    Use beyond 1 week only after consultation with a doctor.

Ampoules should be used immediately after opening. Opened ampoules must not be stored or used later,
as sterility can no longer be guaranteed.

Duration of use

As with all medicinal products, homeopathic medicinal products should not be used for prolonged periods without medical advice.

Side effects

Like all medicinal products, this medicinal product can have side effects, although not everybody gets them.
In individual cases, short-term complaints such as palpitations, accelerated heartbeat, drop in blood pressure, or dizziness may occur.

Note: When using homeopathic medicinal products, existing symptoms may temporarily worsen (initial aggravation).
In this case, discontinue use and consult your doctor.

Instructions for opening the ampoule

Coloured dot facing upwards. Allow solution in the ampoule tip to flow downwards by tapping or shaking.
With the coloured dot facing upwards, pull the ampoule tip backwards to break it off.
Open the ampoule carefully and follow the instructions.

Composition

1 ampoule of 2.2 ml (= 2.2 g) contains:

  • Crataegus Dil. D2 – 22 mg
  • Spigelia anthelmia Dil. D5 – 22 mg
  • Kalium carbonicum Dil. D5 – 22 mg
  • Selenicereus grandiflorus Dil. D3 – 22 mg
  • Nitroglycerinum Dil. D5 – 13.2 mg

Active ingredients 2 to 5 are potentized together over the last 2 steps with water for injections.

Other ingredients: sodium chloride, water for injections.

Pharmaceutical form and pack size

Liquid dilution for injection.
Pack of 10 ampoules of 2.2 ml.
Clinic pack: 100 ampoules of 2.2 ml.

Storage

Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the container and outer packaging.
No special storage conditions are required.
