Liver and Gallbladder Drops

Ingredients:
Carduus marianus D2, Chelidonium D2, China D3, Cholesterinum D6, Colocynthis D6, Lycopodium D4, Nux vomica D4
Ethanol, Aqua pur.

Indications:
Organic complaints of the liver and gallbladder
• Hepatitis
• Gallbladder calculi
• Disturbances of biliary secretion
• Hepatic swelling
• Abdominal distension
• Premature satiety
• Lack of appetite
• Bitter taste in mouth
• Flatulence
• Constipation
• Weariness after meals
• Irritation

Mode of Action:
• Carduus marianus: Painful liver swelling, jaundice, biliary calculi, cholangitis
• Chelidonium: Liver swelling with pressure radiating to right shoulder blade
• China: Meteorism, abdominal swelling, flatulent colics
• Cholesterinum: Liver enlargement, jaundice, gallstone formation
• Colocynthis: Cramp-like abdominal pain; relief from pressure and bending forward
• Lycopodium: Flatulence, meteorism, bitter taste in mouth, irritability, constipation
• Nux vomica: Hypochondria, liver congestion, nausea, tobacco abuse, icterus, gastro-duodenal catarrh, constipation

Dosage:
• General: 10–15 drops in water, 3 times daily before meals
• If no improvement in 8–14 days: 10–15 drops 4–6 times daily, then reduce once symptoms improve
• After symptom resolution: 10–15 drops 1–3 times a day for an extended period while maintaining a strict diet

Remarks:
• Inflammatory diseases of liver and biliary vesicle: additionally use R1
• With simultaneous gastric conditions (gastritis, ulcers): use R5
 – Ulcers: 10–15 drops of R5, 3 times daily before meals
 – R7: 10–15 drops, 2–4 times daily between meals
• In haemorrhoids: additionally use R13
